Yesterday I stopped over at my local trader joes to pick up some groceries and to run some errands! Here are some of the highlights and also some of my all time favorites from TJs!

My OOTD for my day out!
As some of you may know, I have been gluten free, dairy free, and refined sugar free for the past 6 months. My Dad has been on this journey with me as well. Although there have been many ups and downs I have enjoyed the process because it allows me to live my life a little cleaner. Trader Joes has been one of our staple grocery stores due to their high quality items and nice employees. I always find it interesting to see other people's favorite finds at Trader Joes because I am always on the hunt for new found goodies. So I put together a list of items that I personally love from TJ. You do not have to be gluten free or dairy free to enjoy some of these finds! Leave some comments below regarding some of your favorites!
1.
My first favorite would be the Tomato and Basil Hummus. Hummus is such a staple in my house! I eat it with pretty much everything... Veggies, gluten-Free pretzels or even on a piece of gluten-free toast with some protein! I make sure I never run out of this good stuff!!
2.
My second favorite item is the Trader Joes Roasted Plantain Chips! These little chips are a great healthy savory snack! If your in the mood for potato chips but not in the mood for the calories and sodium these roasted plantain chips are a great choice.
3.
My third item is the Columbus Brand Peppered Turkey. This is my favorite turkey in the entire world. I cannot express my love for this stuff! I eat this daily just plain, on a sandwich, salad, or even with
hummus and some yummy gf crackers!
4.
Another one of my favorites is the riced cauliflower! YES... YOU HEARD IT RIGHT!!! This is a veggie that tastes exactly like a carb! I have been using this with literally everything! I have used the cauliflower rice to make carb free fried rice, New Orleans style beans and rice, and lastly using this as a bed for a protein such as chicken or steak!
5.
My fifth and final fav is the organic sugar snap peas! These are so easy to take with you and snack on! These make a super great potato chip substitute thanks to their nice crunch! I would highly recommend them with your favorite dressing or hummus!
Talk to you soon!,
